You wake up already drained. Your jaw’s tight, your chest heavy. Coffee goes cold on the bench while your mind replays yesterday’s conversation… did you say the wrong thing? You smile at work, nod in conversations but inside you feel numb or like you’re about to break.
This is what trauma can feel like. Not always the big, obvious moments, sometimes it’s the quiet ways it lingers making it hard to be present, to feel at ease or to breathe. Maybe your pain comes from childhood wounds, unsafe relationships or the weight of systems that should have protected you but didn’t? Whatever it is, you’re not broken and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’ve worked alongside children, young people and families navigating trauma and adversity. My approach is relational, trauma informed and grounded in trust and connection. I adopt a PACE approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to create a safe, imaginative, and authentic space where healing can happen. I believe growth occurs in relationships that feel real and supportive.
Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, make sense of where they come from and find ways to move forward that feel safe and right for you. You’ll learn how to set boundaries without guilt, regulate your emotions without shutting down and reconnect with the parts of yourself that need care and attention. You deserve more than just surviving. You deserve to live in a way that feels free, whole and true to you.
I offer a unique environment where you have the option to meet Freud the “Furapist” my friendly, playful, loving and affectionate Cavoodle.
